APPLE IPHONE 12 2020 MODELS AND PRICE
For months now, we have known that Apple will be releasing four versions of the 2020 iPhones. Thanks to reliable sources, we have precise info about the price of each model.
Trybeweb was expecting expensive price tags slammed on the 2020 iPhone 12. But surprisingly we won’t have to break the bank to buy the iPhones, because they are not expensive.

There is a good reason for the iPhone 12 price tags; these iPhones will be one of the smallest of Apple iPhones in size.
IPHONE 12 5.4-INCH D52-D MODEL
Firstly, the cheapest iPhone 12 is the 5.4-inch model; the sleek design is for those who love the portability and firm handling of smartphones. This codename for this model is D52-D; it has aluminum coating all over its body, a smaller notch, and the durable Apple minium A14 bionic system-on-chip.
It supports 5G network bands, OLED screen display, and dual camera at the rear. This model has a starting price of only $649; this is a reasonable price to pay, considering it has OLED display and the super-fast A14 chips.
IPHONE 12 6.1-INCH D53-G MODEL
D53-G is the codename for the much bigger 6.1-inch iPhone 12; it has a much more full screen than the 5.4-inch model. This model also has an aluminum body, a smaller notch, A14 bionic chips, 5G band. The OLED display is available for this model, and dual camera is placed at the rear end of the iPhone. You can get your hands on this model for just $749.
IPHONE 12 PRO 6.1-INCH D53-P MODEL
Up next is the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro with the codename D53-P.
This model stands out from the two other iPhones. It has a stainless-steel anti-scratch body, A14 chips, OLED Display, 5G band. Furthermore, it has three rear cameras with A.R. sensors for better images. The iPhone’s starting price is $999, and it is worth paying every penny.
IPHONE 12 PRO MAX 6.7-INCH D54-P MODEL
The fourth iPhone 2020 model is the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 12 pro max. This is the D54-P model, and it has a similar stain-less steel body, smaller notch, A14 chips, and 5G bands. Take amazing pictures with the triple camera with A.R. sensor at the rear, and wider OLED display screen.
The iPhone 12 pro max will be selling for $1099. You might feel the price is high, but it is built with powerful hardware that is worth going. Apple keeps increasing the cost of their devices but also gives us new features in every release. The prices for these iPhones are fair when compare to the Samsung Galaxy Ultra that has a $1400 price tag.
Also, all the Apple 2020 iPhone 12 is built with the A14 bionic system-on-chip. So you should expect top performance while using the device.
Back to Samsung, the main reason why the prices of these iPhones are not very high is that Apple did not work with Samsung in the latest models. In case you don’t know, Samsung has been producing Apple’s previous displays, but this time, the iOS company decides to take its business elsewhere.
The Apple iPhone 20 smartphones’ display was given to BOE, who specializes in making display and sensors. As a matter of fact, BOE has been making the screen display for several top smartphone companies worldwide.

2020 APPLE IPHONE 12 DESIGN AND LEAKS
Trybeweb has the design leaks for the Apple iPhone 12 smartphones. Credits to Phone Arena for sharing the iPhone 2020 renders, they are famous for their great renders. They have shared a vast collection of high-quality images that covers every part of the iPhone 12 design.
Unlike other concept renders, Phone Arena’s renders always fall in line with the final product, and they have shared the iPhone 2020 image designs.
The Apple iPhone 12 images meet up to my design expectations, but I am skeptical about the notches because they look tiny. Apart from that, the photos are fantastic, and we have to wait till September before we can compare them.
OFFICIAL NAME AND DISPLAY
The official names for the Apple 2020 iPhones have not been released yet, but we are assuming they will be called iPhone 12 so they can stay inline with Apple’s naming system.
The display resolutions in the iPhones will vary, with the iPhone 12 6.1-inch model having the lowest resolution and 12 pro max will have the highest resolution. Nonetheless, all four iPhones will be featuring a BOE OLED display.
Although most phones have been using the 60Hz refresh on their display, it is slowly changing, and Apple will be joining the trend by changing its refresh rate.
Currently, we don’t know if the iPhones will be using the 90Hz, 120Hz, or probably mix the two among the four 2020 iPhones models.

iPhone 12 will feature 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate |
We have also gotten unconfirmed tips that Apple will remove the notch at the top of the screen altogether, but that is highly unlikely because this feature has been a welcomed development.
Trybeweb believes Apple will keep to its standard full-screen display, with a notch at the center. Although we will love this, featuring an in-display camera sensor will put the device ahead of its time, and Apple will not use a punch hole.
SECURITY, CAMERA, AND SENSORS
For the 3D face unlock to function appropriately, they will be a time-of-flight sensor on the top of the screen. There are rumors that Apple will be bringing back the fingerprint security, which they discontinued on the iPhone 10. According to sources, the fingerprint biometric is coming back in the form of an in-display scanner (this is pretty cool).
For the camera set up, we expect Apple to continue with the style used on the iPhone 11 models. The rear cameras will be similar to last year’s models, and the pro versions will have more cameras at the back.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 pro max will come with time-of-flight cameras at their rare. These cameras are high-tech 3D depth cameras responsible for face unlock on its the Apple latest devices.
The time-of-flight sensors on the rare cameras are slightly more advanced. It helps to capture objects that a far away; they are suitable for Augmented Reality (A.R.) applications, portrait mode photos, and video effects.
The new iPhone 12 camera will be a slight upgrade to the iPhone 11. Apple is in no rush to improve the camera because they are performing well.
According to reports, the D52-D and D53-G models will have dual cameras at the rear. Meanwhile, the D53-P and D54-P models will have four cameras with the 3D camera included.
RAM, PROCESSORS, AND MEMORY SPACE
The latest Apple A14 Bionic processor, which was manufactured using five-nanometer lithography for better performance, will be used on the device. They are currently leading the race to be the first five-nanometer chipset to be on the smartphone market.
For RAM, the premium iPhones will be getting 6GB RAM, while the standard iPhone 12 will be getting 4GB RAM. This is a good strategy that keeps Apple ahead of other smartphone brands who send out an unnecessary RAM amount that the phone doesn’t need. Thus, the phone users will have to pay extra for those useless RAMs.
We wont be having the 16 and 35GB storage, so iPhone 12 users will have to choose between the 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage memory.
For the first time, the iPhone received good recommendations with the battery performance on the iPhone 11. There might be improvements in the 2020 iPhone model, or we will get the same battery life with the iPhone 11.
BATTERY AND CONNECTIVITY
Graphene batteries are still in development, so we shouldn’t expect them in the iPhone 12 devices. The 5.4-inch D52-D model will be getting around 2,800mAh, 3,150mAh for the 6.1-inch D53-G model, while the premium D53-P and D54-P models will get an impressive 4,300mAh battery life.

There are that the iPhone 12 launch date will be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic |
I am still skeptical about 5G connectivity on the 2020 iPhone models because Apple and Qualcomm weren’t in good terms. There have been rumors about the Apple iPhone 12 coming with 5G connectivity, although they haven’t been any evidence to back that claim.
You don’t have to worry about a rainy day or taking a selfie in the pool because the 2020 iPhone model will have I.P. 68 water-resistant.
The iOS 14 and latest Apple software comes preinstalled in these devices. Users are to anticipate new software and functions that will be coming with the iOS 14 on the iPhone 12.
One of the biggest surprises during the unveiling of the iPhone 11 models was the price. To the amusement of buyers, the iPhone S.E price tag was affordable.
APPLE IPHONE 12 RELEASE DATE
As a custom, the iPhone 12 will be launching the second week of September. So we should expect the first-hand reviews of the iPhone 12 between 8th and 15th September.
